Tahunanui Real Estate and Property (Apr 2008)
Over Christmas Tahunanui beach officially became the 5th most popular beach in New Zealand. This fact has not done any harm to the area's profile.
The New Year has brought with it the usual buzz of activity in the local real estate market, with a large number of Tahunanui properties changing hands in the last couple of months.
In March 2008 over 80 properties changed hands, which represents a lot of activity. Many of those deals were on Tahunanui property - this is not surprising, given the easy living that the Tahunanui area offers. There continues to be more and more businesses moving into the area, increasing conveniences for Tahunanui residents.
The February 2008 median house price for Nelson was $350,000 compared to $300,000 for February 2007 and $340,000 for January 2008.
