October 2007 saw median Nelson house sale prices hit $372,500 which is 12.8% up on September 2007 and 18.25% up on the same month last year.

As summer approaches, we typically see more "For Sale" signs appearing on properties. This year is no different - take a drive around any residential part of Tahunanui and you will see new signs springing up every week. And they don't stay up for long, proving that there are plenty of buyers looking to invest in our fantastic area.

Over the last two weeks Harcourts auctions have seen half the listings sell under the hammer, and almost all of the rest selling post-auction.
